No data for Health Metrics on Inspire 2

My inspire 2 was working fine up until yesterday. Now it no longer seems to be able to record health metrics data like heart rate variability, breaths per minute, skin temp, etc. It just says no data for the past 24 hours.

I've tried removing the device in the app, logging out, clearing the app cache then restarting the phone, logging back in and re-pairing the device, as well as various combinations of these steps. Nothing works.

Based on other topics it seems like it's just broken. I've only been using it for about a month.

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Thank you for providing all these details regarding the difficulty that you are experiencing with Health data and the attempts performed to fix it.

If you haven't done so yet, please try the following steps in the order listed:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your watch. To switch the heart rate settings on your Inspire 2, from the main screen of your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting OFF.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Inspire 2. To do so, open the Fitbit app, tap on the upper left corner icon, tap on your Fitbit device's image and tap on "Sync Now".
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your Charge 5 once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your Inspire 2.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible). We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

Test your Inspire 2 the next couple of days to see if you start receiving your data once again. For more information, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

I had this problem and somehow my Fitbit got switched from on wrist to clip mode. I changed it back and now everything is working again. Good luck.

Hi @PTfromPNW. Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for letting us know about this feature on Inspire 2.

The usage of the 'Clip mode' on the Inspire 2 will track your steps, and every main stat, but anything with heart rate.

Sleep, sleep stages, and anything measured with the LEDs on the back won't be tracked as the Clip mode turns these off.

That worked. Thanks!

I'll keep that in mind as a possible solution in the future, thanks!
