My Fitbit inspire 2 used to count floors, then stopped. People previously commenting this are being told it doesn’t have the ability, That is not true. I have history of it measuring floors, so it has to be due to an update. Can you fix this please.

@Sandyga2 in order to count floors, a Fitbit device needs to have a piece of hardware called an altimeter. The Inspire 2 does not have an altimeter, so it can't count floors. It has never had this ability and an update will not change that. Perhaps you had a previous device that could count floors, but your Inspire 2 has never done that.

This is not true. I have had this inspire for some time and my history clearly show floors. I don’t use any other device.

It's good to see you participating in the community @Sandyga2.
Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Inspire 2.
As @alexthecat mentioned, this feature wasn't available on the Inspire 2 since it was manufactured. However, you could have another device configured on your same account that probably could have been registering floors.

I agrees with Sandy. I have had my inspire 2 for 2 years and it tracked stairs until the most current update.
