Not tracking all of the time

Does anybody else have trouble with their Inspire not tracking? I have had several days where I've been busier than a hoot and it didn't trust any of my footsteps I find that to be quite annoying and wonder if anybody knows any tricks on making sink it hasn't always done this I've had my Fitbit for about seven months and about two months ago it started to miss a day or so. Help! By the way if I noticed that it's not tacky and I do a manual sync but I don't want to have to rely on that because frankly I'm just too busy remember to check at several times during the day to make sure it's doing its job.

Hi @opqueenbee8667nice to see you here, welcome. Thanks for sharing the syncing issues that you're  having with your Inspire.

I'd like to know what model of phone you're using to connect. Please make sure it is listed here. Confirm that your Fitbit App and phone are up to date too, then you can follow these steps:

  1. Force quit the App and turn off your phone
  2. Open Fitbit App, go to Account (upper right corner) > Delete Fitbit tracker from the Account
  3. Open the Bluetooth Setting on your phone and delete Fitbit Inspire HR from there too
  4. Reboot Bluetooth to make sure your Fitbit is not there
  5. Restart your tracker  a couple of times and Access back to Fitbit App > Account to set up your Fitbit tracker back
  6. Turn on notifications

You will find more syncing steps here.

This should solve any syncing issue that you're having, please keep me posted on the resolution!

Hi,

Thanks for responding, however I need to know where one step (or sentence) begins and stops.

Thanks so much,

A couple of weeks ago I need 2 steps to hit a goal and it took 29 steps to get the 2 to register.  I felt like it wasn't counting all my steps and now this convinces me its not

I have done it all starting , restarting, deleting the app, switching wrist. I even have a hard time just seeing the clock I'll tap it and it will not come on, i'll try to slide up to see steps and it will just go blank.  getting very frustrated.
