I cannot get notifications on my Inspire 2 from my Samsung Galaxy A51 Android phone. I have read everything I can find on my Fitbit app all the tips and hints for fixing this problem and I've Googled it. I also checked the topics here and none of them were helpful either. I restarted both my phone and my Fitbit and uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still I get no notifications. Does anyone have a solution that hasn't been posted here? Is it possible my phone is just too old? I've only had my Fitbit a month

Hi there, @MrsBe1. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before reaching out.
May I know if you're getting any error message on the Fitbit app about the notifications not working? If so, what does the message say?
If you're getting this error message “Notification service is not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker”, please note that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
Since you're an Android user, I'd like to provide the following steps that actually work for Huawei users, nonetheless they might also work on other Android devices, so please try the following:
Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.
Hope that does the trick for you.
