Notifications are not coming through my Inspire 2

Hello,

Got an insire 2 as a gift, works cool except the part where notifications and calls do not come through on the watch. Have turned on all permissions, disabled battery optimisation for the fitbit app and all I can find online, nothing.

Sole reason I got another inspire 2 was because I knew the software so that there can be as little hassle as possible for somebody who doesn't understand tech. I was wrong.

Phone is Nokia X10, everything running up to date latest software. Fitbit app up to date and so is firmware on inpire 2 watch. Phone itself is Running android 13, version 5/12/22.

Would love to know a fix because this is getting really annoying. So far everyone been a bit underwhelmed with a fitbit watch except myself, feels like my recommendation completely failed.

Hi there, @Arty_. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2. I understand how you must be feeling.

To better assist you, may I know if you switch phones recently? If so, please try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device again.
  • Set up notifications on your Fitbit device again.

If the issue persists, please see Why are notifications delayed or missing?

If the above doesn't describe your issue, may I know if by any chance you're getting any error message in the Fitbit app regarding the notifications not working?

See you around.
