I don't know what as happened but the last 2 days my fitbit shows calories burned over 1700 but when I then sync to my phone they decrease to the low 300's which in turn changes them on my fitbit . WTH  . I have restarted the fitbit, restarted my phone, uninstalled app and reinstalled .. I am out of ideas . Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

@SunsetRunner Thanks for being part of our Community!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR changing your calories burned after syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. This is odd. Please check your personal information as this is used to you calculate your calories burned. Also do you have any third party apps linked to your account? This can also affect the caloric burn calculation.

I look forward to your reply.

Was there any resolution to this? I’ve lost over 1000 calories from today going from 2200 calories burned to 1150 after I synced!

I have a related problem:  my activity showed as 50 Minutes and my steps as 10,230 until I sync d with my iPhone a couple hours later, then time dropped to 46 minutes and steps to 9991.  I Walked 20 steps three times in a row and the steps didn’t increase until I took the tracker off and waved it in the air.  Now it shows 10024.  We will see what it shows in the morning as it has lost steps on me before.
