Hi! My fitbit already registers over 600 steps when i wake-up. I have the feeling that it doesn’t count the steps properly... and overestimating it

I have he correct setting for dominant wrist. Any solutions?

Hi @MijkeZ, nice to see you in the community.

It's normal to see a few steps on your Fitbit after waking up, although 600 does seem to be on the higher end. Do you get up and use the bathroom during the night? Sometimes I do and can barely remember doing so. It could just be the case that you move around quite a lot during your sleep (arm movements can be mistaken for steps).

Either way I wouldn't worry too much, over a 24hr period 600 steps will make little difference to your overall stats. Remember there may be times your fitbit undercounts (when pushing a cart or stroller) so it usually evens out during the course of the day.
