Last night, for the first time the Inspire HR apparently failed to track my sleep (despite the fact that it did seem to record my heartbeat range during the night). The sleep/moon icon is greyed out and a "__" appears under the circle. I have restarted the device (got the smiley and everything) and nothing changes.
Can someone explain what happened? Is sleep broken and should I return this unit?

Mine is the same. Seem like it is only affecting the Inspire models.

It worked last night, though the night before is still empty for sleep. Perhaps the reset fixed it, I'm going to try to remember to reset every time I recharge. Only other thing I can think is that I went to sleep before midnight for the first time in a while, maybe that thew out off?

Mine is brand new and the same problem did you resolve this issue. Seems to be very common!!!

I figured it out. Your phone's bluetooth needs to be on and connected to your fitbit. Then all the info shows up. 😄

Are you saying that if our cell phone is turned off in the PM then the sleep won't show unless we pair it the following day? Thank you

If your cell phone is actively connected to your Fitbit via Bluetooth, the sleep info for the previous night (assuming you slept with your Fitbit on) will show up. If Bluetooth is off, the sleep info will be greyed out.

Definitely not true for my case. My phone has its Bluetooth on 24/7. I have tried syncing via the app, manually synching with a cable to my PC. Still greyed out.
