Please put the day of the week on one of your possible clock faces. I will not buy an Inspire until you do. Just hope my Alta continues to work until that happens.

This was the link I was given by the chat person who I discussed this problem with. I guess I'll try one more time. I have very little hope that my suggestion will be accepted, and if I have to have a tracker without the day of the week I will probably switch to Garmin.

@KL801 Your vote and your comment are on the Feature Suggestion page. Sadly, it does take time for ideas to be accepted and implemented.

@KL801 Updating trackers for all the wants and desires of every customer is not always possible, but Fitbit has implemented a lot of the Feature Suggestions customers have voted on over the years. These things do take time. Hang in there!

Thanks for the direct link, @LZeeW . I also miss not having the day of the week on my Inspire and added my vote for the idea.

I know it takes time. But my Alta is not operating as well as it used to, so I may not have much time to wait. If I must have a tracker without the day of the week I will switch to Garmin. This is a much bigger deal to me than it is to Fitbit, and I totally understand that my wants are not important in the greater scheme of things. But having a tracker is extremely important to me.

@KL801 - I understand the importance of having the day of the week on a tracker. I switch between my Inspire the the Versa, which offers clock faces that show the day of the week. You may want to check it out before deciding what to buy. The Versa is my favorite because it offers so many features that the little Inspire cannot. And because the clock face is bigger, it can offer many more options of what shows up on the screen. Many of the clock faces can even be personalized. This may be a better option for you, rather than the Inspire. I use both because I like having the option of putting my Inspire in a clip sometimes.
Tap here for a direct comparison of the Versa Lite and the Inspire HR. Like with any tech purchase, you have to decide what is most important to you, then check to see what the various devices offer. The major reason why I stick with Fitbit is the community. I really enjoy the forums where I can chat with other users, asking/answering questions. Getting support when I need it. And participating in the challenges keeps me motivated.

Thanks for your long, thoughtful answer, Carol-B. But I don't have a Fitbit for the same reasons most people do. I do keep track of my steps, but only do 8-9 K a day, usually only 3-4 days per week. I'm elderly, and active in an outdoor volunteer job. The most important thing I get from the Alta is the sleep tracking, which I am convinced has greatly helped me to overcome insomnia. The need for a clock face is just a quirk. I love the Alta because it looks like a piece of sporty jewelry rather than a clunky watch. (The Versa to me looks like a clunky watch.) The Charge 3 looks better, but it is too expensive for my budget, and I don't know whether it has a day of the week on the clock or not. I will stay with my Alta, I guess, as long as it continues to function, but if it goes and the Inspire has not gotten day of the week yet, I'm going to switch to Garmin, because it looks good, tracks sleep, and has a battery that lasts for a year. Alas, it too is missing the day of the week.

And I thank you, @KL801 , for your thoughtful answer. You are truly on top of things. I hope your Alta continues to work for a long time. The Inspire is new and very popular. I expect to see many new clock faces popping up, especially from third party developers. I will be keeping an eye out for one since that is also a feature I want. When I see one, I’ll let you know.

Thank you, CarolB! I hope to hear from you soon that someone has created a watch face that will work for us!

Appreciate your response, @KL801 but please know you will not be hearing about new watch faces from me. You will have to keep checking back to see what’s available.
@Sallyannp - sorry you’re disappointed. I understand how important it is to see the day of the week on your watch face. That is one of the reasons why the Versa is my favorite device. Having a larger screen, it offers several clock faces that show the day of the week, along with other data, depending on what you want to see.
