My InspireHR consistently does not turn on when I raise my arm, no matter how I raise it. I work in a hospital and really rely on the clock, so it’s annoying af not be able to use this feature. Must I wear two watches on arm ? Le sigh..

Hold in left side button for a few seconds. Turn on the screen wake (light bulb). It worked for me.

I am having the same trouble. When my Fitbit arrived it showed the time when I raised my wrist, now it's stopped. Unless I use the side button I can't see the time, very annoying. I upgraded from and Alta HR for swimming but this one isn't much use as a watch.

Thank you!!! I apparently managed to turn mine off when putting a new band on, and could not find how to turn it back on. This also solved my "how do you see your battery level??" problem - there it is!

You have to hold the button down for a couple of seconds and then tap the screen wake icon. I love my Inspire, but the controls aren't very intuitive!

All fixed now, the trick is to hold the button in rather than just press it, then press the lightbulb. Seems like this needs doing every time i change the strap. Would be helpful if this solution was in the FAQ’s

Ah, thank you! I had this issue too.
Now I also know how to avoid the lightning up during the night as well. The menu where you could dim the screen wasnt effective enough *though I think this is how or when I disabled the wrist tilt I guess...).
I dont mind about the light, but others do....
