I have had this issue intermittently done I bought my Inspire 2 . I haven’t changed any settings snd wear it in the same wrist but I find that one day will be missing eg Tuesday won’t record but Monday and Wednesday do and I haven’t changed anything .
There is definitely an issue which is not to do with user settings and I wish Fitbit would get to the bottom of it

@Cinderella99 what is the excuse, for not seeing sleep stages, that the fitbit app is giving you? Is it the same for each night?

It doesn't give any reason - when I sync in the morning, the sleep just doesn't appear.

Open the fitbit app
Tap the sleep tile.
Tap a sleep in question.
Look under the chart.

Sorry my description was perhaps not specific enough - it doesn’t record a sleep score at all

But do you get sleep stages? Without sleep stages, there will be no score?

No data at all / no graph no score no stages . I am just left with a day or two missing . There is no pattern to it ; it appears entirely random. My daughter has same issue with charge 4 .

Same as cinderella99. It quit giving me my sleep score which is the only reason I'm using the Fitbit.

No sleep score last night either . It was fully charged , rebooted , correctly on my wrist etc etc . I do wish someone at Fitbit would actually take this seriously instead of making us feel like idiots as if we’re doing something wrong ! There is a bug - they may not know what causes it but there is a bug . I am not sure how it detects you’re asleep and whether that is just on heart rate / no steps but whatever triggers it is either not happening or it is failing at the synch step

Hi Cinderella99. Support had me restart my fitbit and my sleep score recorded again finally last night. I restarted by holding the side of the fit bit until a smiley face appeared. hope it works for you.

It depends on the model you have I think . On mine I swipe down and get to settings and then select reboot device . However fir the 3rd night in a row no sleep data 🙁

Well here’s an interesting twist ! No sleep data when I synched this morning but when I clicked on the + next to the sleep score the Fitbit knew when my sleep had started but didn’t seem to know when it had finished as it just put in the current time . When I put in an end time and clicked save the sleep data appeared ! I also did this the other day but only got the simplified breakdown but at least I hit something . So this might be worth trying ..,
