Real time swim stats on Inspire HR

I’m a little frustrated. I recently started swimming so wanted to upgrade to a new device. Based on the listed features, I bought a Charge 3, only to find out that, while it clocked distance and laps, those stats don’t show up on the device, but are recorded in the app. So I wrote to FitBit customer service and was told that the Inspire HR shows real time stats for distance and laps, so I returned the Charge and bought the Inspire HR. The only real time stat I can see for swimming is time, which doesn’t really help me as I’m trying to increase my distance. 

Did customer service steer me wrong, or am I just not seeing how to change the time stat to distance or laps?

Let me help you with your swim stats. As you said only time can be seen while swimming. If this doesn't meet your requirements you can contact our Support team to process a refund (if you purchased the device from fitbit.com/store and are within the 45 days return window). You can also share your idea on how to improve this feature in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exists so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.
