Repeatedly Inspire HR loses Bluetooth connection

Inspire HR repeatedly loses BT connection with iPhone and app gets stuck at “looking” for tracker.

I have done all the resets, restarts, clear data’s, forgets, reinstalls, etc. and same thing every time!!

This is a huge fail!

Come on Fitbit This is ridiculous!!

Really fed up now! I have done all the recommended things to get it to sync, it will link eventually (after removing my inspire HR, uninstalling the app, turning off Bluetooth, turning off my iPhone, then turning it back on, turning on Bluetooth, reinstalling the app and then after ages of searching, reconnecting my device, it will sync but as soon as I move or go to do something else it looses connection. Fed up! As someone else said, I’m ready to through it away but it was bought as a gift.

I have iphone8 on iOS 13.4.1!Fitbit is in hell of a mess right how and to be honest is not a lot of use to me unless problems are fixed!

Agreed! I am considering other options.

My fitbit worked fine since I bought it Dec 2019 until May 6 or 7. I called customer support and they assisted me to reconnect but now it’s happening again.

Wonder if there was some new update pushed recently that has affected this. Mine hasn't been great for a while but certainly it has been much worse as of late. Constantly unpairing, re-pairing, doing what I call the Bluetooth hokey pokey (turn it on, turn it off, shake it all about 😀 just to try and have it function as it should). Good luck!

I have had the same issues for months. Very frustrating to not get my notifications. I miss my Alta HR.

Trash that thing and go back to the Alta. That’s what I did.

Unfortunately, I gave away my old Fitbits when I bought the Inspire....never thought for a second that a newer model would be the source of unending issues.

Hi, i have done all this Yesterday ... it can’t be right that I have to go through this process several times a week?

Exact same issue here! iPhone 6s. Bought my Inspire HR last week. And it repeatedly drops Bluetooth pairing and won’t sync. Called Fitbit customer service yesterday and they told me they are aware of this issue for iOS users and they will be pushing out a new version of the app. No ETA on that. I will be keeping and eye on this and will be considering whether to return in the 45-day return window.

I've been having this issue constantly since the last app update (about 2 weeks ago).

I know I am a year late to this particular thread, but I had a Fitbit one (actually 2 of them) and was sad when couldn't find anymore

Got an Inspire 2 1/2 years ago and it loses connectivity with Iphone 3 or 4 times a year -- EVERY year.

IPhone 8 or IPhone 10 doesn't matter it's the device, and unlike the One you can't synch this one with online account to solve the issue

Have to fight turning it off - which only works about every 3rd attempt

Then it eventually syncs again - sometimes don;t lose any steps, sometimes lose 2 days as this is how long it takes to synch after 10 0 15 attempts

AGAIN ITS the DEVICE that is a problem

After this one finally dies I will move to an ITouch

You should strongly consider returning, unless you got a smokin good deal. Problem seems to be ongoing with little appetite from Fitbit to address it. And when it DOES works like it's supposed to for a few days, you get alllll excited, and then BAM! back to not syncing, not connecting, cannot find device etc. Again, not my first Fitbit but definitely first one to have ongoing issues that render it pretty much useless a majority of the time.

Best of luck though! Maybe you got a good one!

Repeatedly loses Bluetooth connection. Does not sync with iPad for the past week. Today I can only get the correct time. Unable to scroll to get steps etc.

Thanks! Today , though now counting steps, the Fitbit clock time displayed is 3 minutes slower than real time!

Wow. The issues just keep on coming with this particular device. Maybe the name should be changed from Inspire (which clearly is NOT accurate) to perhaps Retire or Expire. It's not that old of a model but it sure has been riddled with UNinspiring problems.

Best Answer
That’s for sure, terrible model. I like expire better since that’s what I had to do to mine. Now I’m back to my Alta HR works like a charm. It’s a shame I had to waste the money on the inspire with no recourse with the company.

This is my 3rd model. Never had a problem with the others. I just learned how to unlock it 🙄🙄The time is 2 minutes slow. My iPad which kept track of everything up to 2 weeks ago now says there is NO device. 🤬

None of that works. Checked all those, reset everything etc.  Inspire will Not appear in the Bluetooth app on my Imac.  Will not synch with my Galaxy either. All apps installed, OS updated etc. WTF
