Inspire HR repeatedly loses BT connection with iPhone and app gets stuck at “looking” for tracker.
I have done all the resets, restarts, clear data’s, forgets, reinstalls, etc. and same thing every time!!
This is a huge fail!
Come on Fitbit This is ridiculous!!

Yes, tracker update..... so frustrating. Mine doesn’t even go half way though. Hoping this tracker update will help syncing problems, but doesn’t even update. So frustrating!

Yeah, this is getting ridiculous. Mine is losing Bluetooth connection pretty much EVERY time I check it. Forget device, then repair. Literally doing this over and over again each day. WTH is wrong with the Inspire?? There is NO WAY this should be happening. I'd rather see FB fix this than launch a 'new' Inspire...which doesn't seem to offer many changes/upgrades. SOOOOOOO frustrating!

Hi, just to let you know that I managed to sort the problem out. The issue in the end was that I got a new phone and transferred Fitbit account onto that one but was still paired on my old phone and iPad. Once I deleted Fitbit app from my old phone and iPad, I cleared all data from my Fitbit tracker (on the tracker, go to settings, about abd clear all data) and then paired the tracker to the new phone from scratch. This resolved the constant Bluetooth connection drops and it’s been fine since then. I have a Charge 3. Hope that helps.

Bluetooth Versa 2 going on 2 years old.....2020 October and November I spent over a month running between Best Buy and overseas calls to Fitbit to untangle the sync problem with my perfect updated iPhone. Finally did a factory reset fitbit mid November 2020. Hahahahah not connected to Bluetooth again. I spend too much time complaining to a poorly ran maintenance operation. Oh sure they have great bedside manners “please private message me”......my Facebook wouldn’t take their messages to messenger. It’s all about new sales. I have to go Apple on next purchase and in meantime I will not look at my phone anymore to see my sleep or steps etc. terrible fitbit software

interesting....same situation here. didn't work for sooo long. then had a short period when things seemed to be syncing and working mostly 'normal'....now back to having to 'forget' device on bluetooth and re-pair device almost every time i check. totally ridiculous.

I would jump on that bandwagon. Same issue. Having to forget and pair the Inspire HR with Bluetooth multiple times a day. One thing we can do is report this to the Better Business Bureau. We can mention that dozens of people are talking about this in the Community Forum and no one from the corporation appears, as they usually do, to offer a solution. If multiple people do this, Fitbit will have to respond.

I have the same problem. I have an iPhone 7+ and a MacBook Pro. The Inspire repeatedly loses the Bluetooth pairing. Apparently, the device only syncs to my desktop computer and laptop once a day. That's a frustration too. And the charge lasts about 2-1/2 days. As near as I can tell, the Inspire HR is basically a piece of junk. Had no problems whatever with my Ones (though I tended to lose them). The One did everything I needed with no issues at all. Wish they would bring it back.

So my connection was just severed with Fitbit help, and he said we should turn off the Bluetooth on one Apple device to use another. But how many of us work on our iPad with our iPhones in our pockets? Also, this doesn't explain why I used to be able to use both in proximity to each other without a problem.

Me too! I finally called, got a real person, explained there were (at that time) 141 people with exactly the same problem and what were they going to do about it. Nevertheless, we went through steps, turned Bluetooth off on my phone, and then we got cut off. But for some reason, it worked fine after that! But just this week, I've had to go back to forgetting my Inspire on both my iPad and iPhone 11.

I am having the same Bluetooth connectivity issue. Sometimes I am able to connect, but the connection is lost. I tried using my Android phone (Samsung A-21 with IOS version 10, therefore, it meets the requirements), and with my computer which runs Windows 10, both devices experience the loss of connectivity. On the app, I do see that a firmware upgrade is available for my fitbit, however, I am not able to perform the update since I can't keep the connectivity for more than a few seconds at a time.
Additional information that may be helpful, when I try to connect the device via Bluetooth, the Fitbit appears on the device list, then it disappears. Sometimes it re-appears, sometimes I have to scan available devices again for it to re-appear. So far, I have never been able to connect and retain the connection for more than a few seconds to a minute or two at best.
