Repeatedly Inspire HR loses Bluetooth connection

Inspire HR repeatedly loses BT connection with iPhone and app gets stuck at “looking” for tracker.

I have done all the resets, restarts, clear data’s, forgets, reinstalls, etc. and same thing every time!!

This is a huge fail!

Come on Fitbit This is ridiculous!!

My V2 has been working well so far....fairly new though...hopefully it continues to function AS IT SHOULD. That Inspire HR was a total dud from day 1.

I had to wipe it clean twice and then I finally joined the premium and it
went probably 7 mo the perfect. Now it’s acting up one a week, but like I
said seems to reconnect fairly fast. I have an iPhone --

Several folks appear to encounter the same issue, thanks to all those who have responded to the post.

Although my Fitbit will not connect via Bluetooth, it does display my distance, pace and heartrate, at least those functions work well, although I am unable to update any preferences.

Once this Fitbit goes though, it would be silly to purchase a new Fitbit device, even if upgrading due to the lack of actual support from Fitbit.

Cheers,

Once my Fitbit dies, I will not be getting a new one.  The original Fitbit One was great.  Lasted a long time with no issues. A fully charged battery on the Inspire will randomly last between one day and seven days.  Losing Bluetooth happens daily.  Forgetting the device on the iPhone will sometimes help to reconnect but sometimes it takes several attempts. Too bad the quality of the products has gone down so much in a few years.

Get an Apple Watch and be done with it.

That’s exactly what I did! And NO regrets!

I had an Ulta for years that worked great and always synched with my iphone.  When it finally died this year, I did not see this forum and made the mistake of buying an Inspire 2.  It constantly looses the bluetooth connection and I don't get any of my notifications.  I never had this happen with the Ulta.  The battery finally died and that was the only issue.  I feel like I am stuck with this dud that gets no support from Fitbit.

I agree I loved the Fitbit ones. The inspire worked great. Bought it in aug 2021 until last week. Now I keep losing blue tooth and the battery does not stay charged.

for me it got much better when I deleted the glance clock and installed the one called "sentinel one" by Ryan Chen. it also shows the blood sugar really nicely. after a while I missed Glance and installed it again. since then i have only lost the bluetoth connection once in 1.5 month. Maybe you should try the same 😄

I have this same exact issue with my new Charge 5. Never had this issue with the Charge 3 or 4. I’m getting ready to return it. I’ve done all the troubleshooting and it still continues to lose pairing.

Are you telling us that because I have a Mini. iPad near my iPhone that it won’t stay connected to the iPhone? If so, my Charger 5 will be on its way back to you. I didn’t have that problem with any of my other Fitbit trackers/smart watches.

Mine is doing the same exact thing. Literally every time I open the app. Let me know if anything has ever been figured out.

I upgraded to the premium and since then over a year ago I have had little
trouble. Taking my watch into a Best Buy helped when I had extreme trouble
with it and it’s updates. Good Luck!!--

I have the same issue, Bluetooth connection lasts for a day or two then I need to reconnect my Inspire HR to my iPhone again. iPhone 8 is up to date with iOS and Fitbit App and Inspire HR are also both up to date.

Just to be clear, the issue is regularly loosing BT connection, then I don't get my text messages on the fitbit and the fitbit and app don't synch.

I’m feeling the same about throwing it in the  river.  Loses Bluetooth too many times a day.  I think I’m going to switch to Apple watch

Yes, I synch my fitbit, then it become unsynched, yet is still connected to recieve data, just can't recieve calls or do notifications. And of course, will not synch again. because it's already **ahem**ing synched, but gives notice of needing to synch for full function. Does any of this sound familiar? And if course my phone seees it as currently being synched. Unless I tell my phone to forget it, and start again as a fresh synch. Lasts for a couple hrs. I'm bringing this back to the store. The moderators here offer no solutions. They either know there is a problem, and are trying to gasslight us, or they are as ignorant of the solutions as anyone asking these questions. This is stupid tech.
