I have had 4 different fitbit products over the past 13-14 years.  They have all been solid units.  I got my wife the Inspire HR about two years ago and I hate to say it's a big **ahem**.  We are on the second unit and continue to have the same issues on the second one.

Sometimes holds a charge for 2 days, but then completely dies and wont recharge.  I use a multimeter to validate the charger is fine, but we can't reset it or get it to vibrate/smiley face or anything.

I would strongly discourage that particular unit.  Something seems to be bad with all of them.  Charge 3 on the other hand is great.

I have to agree.  I've had nothing but problems with this since I bought it.

I agree that this Inspire HR has Inspired me to go back to Samsung trackers.  This has been so frustrating.  I love the look  and size of it so I have tried so many times to make it work.

I'm done.

I've had so much trouble with my HR Inspire. Finally I uninstalled my FitBit app and then loaded it again. Now it is syncing. It is the worst thing for not wanting to sync. I have an IPhone 8plus.This worked for me. After two weeks of trying everything else.

One thing that helped when it seemed dead was to uninstall the app on your
phone. This activated it.

I'm sorry. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It seems to happen
most often after it gets charged. I have been leaving it and eventually it
connects. Frustrating as all get out!! Sometimes I have deleted the app and
then installed it again. That worked for me one time. I just think that
this model of FitBit is a lemon!! Just as I decide to buy a different one
- for example a Garmin - it starts to work again all on its own!! I go
through checking if it's connected to Bluetooth and yes it says it is - but
there is no syncing going on even if it is connected. Grr...........

Thanks for your reply. Frustrating. Decided to bite the bullet. This is my third or fourth Fitbit So This past week I bought an Apple Watch. We had some credits there and just figured time to change. I really liked the Inspire ..

This didn't work for me.   I've been noticing that the battery life has diminished drastically over the past few days.   Now my fitbit won't start at all.   Nothing but a black screen.

I just got a fitbit inspire. The battery is charged because when I disconnect it from the USB, I get a vibration and a smiley face on a battery. Then it goes black and nothing. No display of any kind. Initially upon hooking up to USB I get their logo and a www.fitbit.com/setup scrolling across the bottom.

I am sure they have problems judging by all the questions and complaints.
My first version of FitBit was the simplest one and it worked perfectly
until it died.

Hi, it has been a few days that my inspire hr still won’t respond to my swipe gestures. It won’t scroll despite restarting it. Why is that so? It really is frustrating. It just won’t show me the menu and swipe whichever direction. Urgently need assistance please. Thank you!

Hi
After charging my FitBit I usually push the side button when I'm near my
phone. Sometimes it connects. That is what has worked most of the time. I
find it is quite temperamental. And if my phone is not charged up as well
as the FitBit it seems not to work. When I really get fed up and take it
off - lo and behold I come back several days later and it has synced.
I don't know why this happens. sorry.
