Resting heart rate isn't registering. Nor are custom heart rate changes.

I have a freshly aquired inspire hr. The resting heart rate is always listed at 60bpm. My heart rate drops to low 50s or high 40s and registers as such on the device, when I look at my device screen. However, the app history shows nothing below 60. Ever.

I went into the dashboard and customized my heart rate range, from a low point of 35 tò a max of 185 and keyed the save changes button. No difference. In the app itself to adjust the device I can change my max heart rate only. The customize range options allow me to enter numbers only, however there is no option to save the changes that are made and these changes are not automatically saved.

At this point I am considering my money wasted and will be looking for an alternate device supplier. Someone whose devices are acutally customizable and will save and recognize the changes I make and want. If the device is capable of reading a heartrate, whatever it is, it should also be able to record that data in the app without any headache.

Anyone else having this problem and have a functioning fix solution? Thanks

@Seancastle It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Sorry to hear about your difficulties setting up your custom heart rate and will gladly help you with your resting heart rate. Regarding your resting heart rate, this data is calculated using your awake and sleep heart rate. This is why it is suggested you wear your tracker all day including sleeping with it. You can read more about this feature here.

Regarding changing the heart rate zones, on the app you change the numbers and tap done at the top right corner. This will save your settings.

Let me know how it goes.
