Runs categorized as walks and I can’t edit exercise type since 2024 update

There have been several runs that I have completed using the ‘track my run’ option (using the GPS) but when I end the run, the exercise is categorized as a walk. Before the 2024 update, I could go in an edit the exercise type but now when I go to edit an exercise the only data that can be edited is the time. It would be great if this misclassification of exercise type was fixed but I would also be okay with being able to edit the exercise type like we used to before the recent app update.

This has happened to me as well.  I have called and emailed to no available.  Seems like a backward step on their part to not have this editing feature.

@aurora_rosie and @Joan1215 I don't know which version of the Fitbit app you have. I have Android version 4.09 and the ability to edit the names of exercise sessions has been restored. Finally! App updates are rolled out in waves and it can take a week or two to reach everyone. If the new version has not come to you yet, keep checking for the update.
