Screen not working Inspire HR

Hi all,

I’ve had my Inspire HR for a year and a half now and over time- many features have depleted.

- several functions on the Fitbit do not work- for example, I can’t disable notifications at will so I have to disable all those that aren’t 100% necessary to avoid infinite buzzing.

- it will charge from 10% to 100% in half an hour but after five minutes of wearing it- it depletes to 2%.

-sometimes the screen actually goes crazy- flicks back and forth opening random functions like starting or cancelling timers and opening notifications. The off button does not work at all in these (frequent) situations.

- sleep data seldom shows up on the Fitbit. It always says that no data is available. This is after multiple syncs.

-it’s getting increasingly harder to scroll and click on functions. Whenever I try to scroll, it opens the function and when I try to open the function, it scrolls. I don’t think this is down to heavy/ long pressing on my part - my actions are fairly clear.

I was wondering if this all meant it was getting old and needed replacing now? Or if I shouldn’t take it swimming/wear it in the shower? I’d be grateful to know how to fix this issue.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Aliya_SR

Thank you for all the information that you've shared about this inconvenience with your Inspire HR.

There are some general recommendations to improve the battery life and the restart procedure is usually helpful to resolve problems with the display. However, if you already tried all these steps and you continue to have the same issues, I do recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team so they can provide you with further assistance or let you know what options are available for you.

The best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

I'll be around.
