I can’t turn my inspire 2 every time I want to check the time …. Sometimes it works if I tap it, sometimes it works if I press the sides, sometimes it works when I simply move my arm …. And I can’t find the answer in the instructions … I’m sure it’s there, it has to be there, but I can’t find it. 😕

Hi there, @nannajenn. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire 2. I will be glad to help you with this.

If the screen wake is no longer working on your Inspire 2, please go to your quick settings and check if the screen wake has been accidentally turned off. To do so, press and hold the buttons to access certain settings. Tap a setting to turn it on or off. Here you can change whether the screen turns on when you turn your wrist. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

If the above doesn't work or doesn't describe your issue, probably your Inspire 2 is in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The Always-On Display clock face is turned off.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in the quick settings.

Please let's try to check this setting one more time by swipe down from the clock screen. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
