I've checked the settings, I've rebooted. I can't think of anything more to do. The two things I want are the sleep score and my heart rate and neither work any more after the update.
If no one has a fix for this I am' trashing this and will go back to my Inspire HR until it dies and then switch to a different brand. From what I've read of the Inspire 3, the issues are even worse than this sorry piece of design and engineering.
And the tapping is just awful. I have to pound the thing repeatedly to change anything.

Hi, thank you for sharing all your feedback and this information about the problem that you've been having with your Inspire 2, @mlaiuppa.
Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see a sleep score. There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:
If you see sleep stages but don’t see a sleep score, please note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear. In addition, for better results please try to let the device detect that you're awake or asleep by itself rather than doing it manually and make sure to keep the Fitbit app and the devices' firmware updated to the latest version available.
The Inspire 2 may need some days to collect some information (particularly regarding to heart rate) and provide sleep score, sleep stages and other data. Make sure that you've also tried the restart procedure described here and check if you continue to experience the same problem. In case the problem is related to the Fitbit app, please try the following as well:

You mentioned heart rate no longer works. Sleep tracking can't work without heart rate tracking so getting that fixed should fix the sleep stuff. There are a couple things that can stop heart rate tracking from working.
First, make sure your Fitbit is set to On Wrist. To do this, access the secret settings by holding both side buttons for about 2 seconds. You should see Water Lock pop up, scroll down to the bottom of this list and make sure it says On Wrist. If it says On Clip, tap that and change it to On Wrist.
If that doesn't fix your heart rate tracking, there is another option in the regular settings. Briefly tap both side buttons until the screen turns on and shows your main watch face (time, etc). Scroll up until you see the gear icon with Settings under it. Tap that and the first option should be Dim Screen, the second should be Phone GPS and the third should be Heart Rate. Make sure Heart Rate is set to On.
If that still doesn't fix your hear rate tracking, I'm not sure what the problem could be, hopefully someone else knows.
