Should I return my Inspire??

I recently upgraded from my flex 2 to the basic inspire and I think it may be faulty.

Im getting the following issues:

-Incessantly logs phantom swims and sports.

-I set it to not wake the screen when I sleep yet it constantly lights up because it's touching the sheets. I have to now remove it when I go to bed so can't track my sleep.

-When I'm not wearing it in the night and it's on a flat, unmoving surface it logs sleeps including restless periods

The above issues have continued despite repeatedly rebooting my Fitbit, logging in and out of the app, and removing and reinstalling the app.

is there something I'm missing or is this doomed to be returned?

very disappointed in this.

@carrie0404 your Fitbit will log the users BMR even when not being worn. BMR is the minimum calories burnt to keep the body on this side of the grave. A tracker doesn't need to be connected to your account for these calories.

@Mehihannah. turning quick view off only jeeps it from turning on by rotation. The inspire, unlike the Flex has a touch screen which is easier to turn on.

As for the strange sleep, this should not be, if restarting does not help then indeed their may be an internal probblem and an exchange or contacting Fitbit may be needed.
