Sleep disappeared from the Fitbit app

I have an Inspire HR and the sleep option has disappeared from my app.  This happened a few days ago and I tried setting it up again but it did not help.  I do not have the premium app and do not wish to pay a monthly fee for the app.  Please help because the sleep option is very important to me.

My app is on a tablet and there is an update available but fails each time I try to install it. Its been that way for months. If I load the app on my pc the “pair” window is too small. I can’t get to the “yes” option. I added a post for the window problem and never heard anything back. The sleep issue will probably be the same.

@cher1 @Elise777 @Trishaheg I hope you're doing well!

This is odd. Make sure that your tracker is setup on your account. After this follow these instructions to add a tile on the app. Finally you can try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

Hope this helps.

That worked – adding the sleep tile back and following the instruction in your post however it is only displaying 1 hour or so of sleep per day for the past week??? I will see what tomorrow displays.

@cher1 happy to hear that you could add the sleep tile again. Regarding sleep tracking, your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.

I'll be around.
