Sleep isn't tracked accurately

All week long my Inspire HR has shown that I'm waking up for good around 4 AM, while that's at least 90 minutes early. I'm sure I'm stirring then but I'm definitely not getting up. Any ideas why it is suddenly so inaccurate just at that one time of day?

Welcome to the Forums @Rieckd79. Thanks for sharing your experience with the sleep. Let me help you figure out what is going on.

I'd also like to let you know that I will be moving this thread  to the Inspire HR board as it is better suited for this thread.

There are some reasons why the Fitbit might be thinking that you are waking up at that time all week:

  • If your HR is going up at time during the night. This could be happening because you start moving around more or you are waking up for small moments.
  • Similarly to what I said above, if you start moving around without your HR to go up. If you start moving around for some reason that could cause the Fitbit to think that you are awake. Even if you get up to go to the Bathroom and go back to sleep, that could cause it to think you are awake.
  • If you have a fan, or an open window or someone opens a window in the morning, the draft of air hitting the Fitbit could cause it to think that you are awake.

Let me know if none of the above could be the reason or if you have any other questions.
