After the recent firmware update, sleep is no longer displayed on my Inspire. It is still tracking sleep, but is only visible on the mobile app. I have tried restarting the device, but still not there.

I never heard back from anyone at Fitbit support, but I eventually fixed the syncing issue myself. The sleep icon was missing from the tracker altogether and my female health tracking was not syncing correctly. It was several days behind. Everything was fine in the app on my phone. I deleted the tracker from the app and re-paired it 3 times. I also restarted the tracker several times and restarted my phone. A combination of these finally worked after playing with it for about an hour. Hopefully things will go smoothly from now on.

I haven't updated the firmware because there are already nine pages of problems with it.
My Inspire HR tracker has never displayed my sleep time-- the sleep icon has always been grayed out and nothing I've tried fixes it. I have to wait until it finally syncs (which is sometimes over 24 hours between syncs even when I tell it to sync) to view my sleep data in the app. That said, the sleep data seems pretty accurate, which is one reason I don't want to chance the new firmware update.
I'm very disappointed in my tracker but I have had to learn to tolerate the things that don't work and its refusal to sync. I don't want to make it worse, which many are saying the new update does.
It would be a fantastic tracker IF it worked as intended and IF it would sync as intended.
Fitbit needs to address the root of their problems.

I am experiencing the same issue since I updated this week... 4 nights have passed and my Inspire HR has not been able to track my sleeping patterns. I am truly disappointed!

I have had this same problem with my inspire since doing the update. I have done everything that was suggested to fix the problem and nothing has worked. The last message I just received said that customer service was a high priority for Fitbit. The next sentence said they were sorry to see me leave as I said maybe I needed to look into Apple watches. Come on Fitbit. There is a glitch in your update and you need to get it corrected.

I'm glad yours worked, but I've tried all those steps and more with no luck.
My app (when I can finally get it to sync) seems pretty accurate on heart rate, steps, and sleep data, and those are what I'm most interested in. I still have not updated the firmware because of all the problems with it. I'm leaving (barely) well-enough alone.
I've reconciled myself to syncing only every day or two as FB won't let me sync more often no matter what I try. The sleep icon on my band is always grayed out, but I can eventually see the data in the app once it finally decides to let me sync..
I can't imagine why Fitbit doesn't fix these problems, though, including doing an update that actually works instead of making things worse. They really don't seem concerned about them. They would have a great activity tracker IF it consistently worked as intended.
