Sleep score and stage tracking

Received the Inspire HR as a gift.   For a couple of nights it provided a sleep score and the time spent in each stage of sleep (REM, Deep, Light, etc). The last two night it provided no score and only provided general sleep stage (asleep, awake, restless).  The past two nights was 8+ hours of sleep.   Does the score and sleep stages only appear when you get less than the target hours of sleep?

Hello @Patrick1979 and a warm welcome.  If the part about the target sleep and sleep stages were true, then I would have a WHOLE lot of sleep patterns.

Here is a section from a Help article that discusses why users get patterns instead of stages.

Does this give you some insight?

Thank you.   I tried to reposition the Fitbit on my wrist about three fingers up from the wrist and it did not provide a sleep score or stage information.  I only received total time sleeping and how much I was awake, restless and asleep.

any other suggestions to get the amount of deep sleep and rem sleep data?

I was having the same problem with mine, but I may have found an answer. It may be too soon to tell, but I changed my sleep sensitivity on my profile to sensitive. So far, I've been getting my sleep score.

Mine stopped working too. I didn't change anything. I'm also annoyed that if I want my sleeping heart rate that I need to pay for it.

Mine didn't work either after just one week. I also did NOT get the statement asking why didn't I get my full data.
