Sleep shows on app but not Inspire 2

When is Fitbit going to do a new update to fix sleep data not showing on Inspire 2, it has been some time since working. I had a InspireHR it wasn’t working so I bought a new inspire2 and wonder of wonders it doesn’t show on that also.

I'm having the same issue. I have no data since Nov 27 for sleep score. I've already Uninstalled the app and restarted my phone as well as restarted my fit bit. Please advise as my fit bit is fairly new.

@SandyKYoung @RED82 A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried. 

I'd like you to double check that your Inspire 2 is set to On Wrist and that the Heart Rate setting is turned on, to access them press and hold both buttons then access Quick Settings. Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I get started with Fitbit Inspire 2?

Yes the Heart Rate is ON. And it's set for On Wrist.

I have the same problem @SilviaFitbit , same problem is also with my previous Charg3 and Charge 4. I don't know if it can be a factor but I'm using Android (now Pixel 4 with version 11 but the problem is way back 2 years ago with Pixel 3 and Android 9, I think)

@SilviaFitbit mine is an iPhone 11 Pro Max.  I just bought the Inspire 2 because my daughter was so excited about hers.  I love everything about it except one of the coolest features, which is the Sleep Score.  It's never shown it on the Fitbit since Day 1, even though I've researched online and checked my settings, and re-checked my settings.  It just never shows up.  Very frustrating.

Hello Silvia. 

 

Just coming back in to update. After speaking to the support team, I rebooted it and my tracker showed the my sleep data and score for ONE night. After that, it stopped showing again. I repeated the whole rebooting thing. But it has never showed up again since that one time. How should I fix this? 😞 please and thank you.

Hi, I'm having the same issue with my new inspire 2. I can see the sleep and exercise data on my app but not on the tracker. I've followed the directions to restart and tried troubleshooting but the problem isn't fixed. 

I've taken screenshots of the app and photos of my tracker but I don't know where to attach it to this post to show you.

I will be transparent with my experience Trixg910, at the risk of it being deleted because it is negative.

Like you I spent hours trolling through this community board and found hundreds of people complaining about the same issue over several months.  Commonly a person called SilviaFitbit would interject with a few solutions, which everyone tried, but never worked.

I got so frustrated and posted over a few blogs then a private message from SilviaFitbit advising that my post was deleted because "cross-posting is not permitted by our Community Guidelines."  Nothing in the guidelines about this and nearly a month later that person has not replied (poor form).

One could conclude they don't want negative attention to a device fault.

Considering the number of people that are saying essentially the same thing there are device issues and quite sometime has elapsed so don't expect to see your sleep data on the tracker anytime soon, if ever.  

At the end of the day voice your opinion about the device publicly where it can't be manipulated, that will have a greater corporate impact for change than here.

I completely agree. Same rhetoric over and over. Solve it or refund my $$$.

Hi, Has there been any progress on this issue? It’s dragging on and causing frustration to customers as we have a product that doesn’t perform as advertised.

I have the same issue. Sleep data shows on the app but not my device.

 

By the way, I have reset my device as described above.

This is happening to me too! I've had my Inspire 2 for 3 days and no sleep information on my device although showing in the app. As it seems like this is an ongoing issue with no resolve, I'm going to stop trawling the internet for a solution and trying everything I can think of to fix it. 

 

Lift your game fitbit, so disappointed. I'm going to find a public forum to leave a review so that future buyers can see this BEFORE they purchase.

I got my Inspire 2 5 days ago and it has same issue, even after reset and re-sync.

 

Well fortunately, for whatever reason, after a second reset, it’s now working. Strange.

It has been over 4months since I first raised this problem. I am getting very frustrated as Fitbit has not resolved it. A lot of other users are having the same issue. When is Fitbit going to fix it. I have deleted inspire 2 many times from app reinstalled, rebooted and re synced but it still is not displaying sleep data on device.

Would a restart be advised for a Charger4 with the same issue @SilviaFitbit?

 

@JillianG I’m sorry this is happening for you.

as you can see I still live in hope that they fixed the issue. I bought my first Fitbit in Feb 2014 only to have it be an issue then. And recently I bought my second Fitbit item last week only to rediscover that it’s still an issue. 

I’m wondering now if it’s just a ploy to get us to buy.

I have an Inspire 2.

Each morning there is a sleep log and score within the app but that data never syncs to my device. It simply says ‘no data’.

I have the problem. It synced once when I rebooted my tracker but that was it. My tracker is set for my wrist, the app is set with my sleep goals and everything is working but the numbers won’t sync between my phone and my tracker.
