Based on what sleep researchers have found, deep sleep is when your heart rate is the lowest throughout your sleep cycles. Yet, when I look at the heart rate for when Fitbit claims I’m in a “deep sleep” period, it doesn’t correspond/align with when my heart rate is lowest. And there are often times where my heart rate drops to its lowest levels and Fitbit claims I’m in light sleep and awake during these times. The sleep tracking seems to be terribly off, can anyone give any insight on this?
