Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with my Fitbit inspire hr, the sleep stages aren't being tracked anymore.

I've looked around on forums and they all basically say that I'm entering my sleep logs myself or pressing the sleep now button, but I was doing that previously and getting all the information

Nice to see you on the Fitbit Forums again @Minithecat1. Thanks for reporting the issues that you're having with your sleep tracking using Inspire HR.

Thanks for troubleshooting prior to contacting us and for checking the Fitbit Community Forums too. You can see some details on how to wear your Fitbit Inspire here, it will help your sleep tracking. There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you're still not getting your sleep information on the Fitbit App, please confirm that your Inspire HR has synced with your mobile or syncing device. You can also restart your Fitbit.

Some users have reported better sleep tracking when using the option "on clip" instead of "on wrist", you can find the instructions on how to do so in the manual page 12 and 18.

Keep me posted.
