Sleep tracking after falling back to sleep

What am I missing about the sleep tracking function of my Inspire HR?

It is not recording sleep details when I fall back to sleep.

I get up numerous times a night but after I wake up the first time and for example I use the bathroom and go back to bed and fall back to sleep it won't track. Sometimes I don't fall back to sleep right away. It can take an hour but it's still in the middle of my night and I know I'm sleeping. It's worthless to me to only have data from the first 2 or 3 hours of my night.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This happens quite frequently to me as well. When it does, I have found that if I manually edit the sleep end time to match the time I actually woke up in the app or on the fitbit.com dashboard, the sleep event will update to include sleep stages for the missing hours. I've also found that if the sleep time logged by the fitbit is too short and only the basic sleep information is shown instead of sleep stages, I have to delete the entire sleep event and manually enter the sleep start and sleep end times. Then the sleep stages are shown for the night.

Hopefully you see the same.

I am going to try these things in the next few nights. I greatly appreciate the help.

Hi Mandy, I am having the same problem.  Did you ever do what DarWun suggested and did it help at all?
