My HR tracks sleep pretty well - it starts recording minutes after I go to bed, I usually get a full readout in the morning, etc.
My wife usually gets a very poor analysis, sometimes none at all.
If we swap fitbits, the problem stays with her. I get a good read with her watch, she gets a crummy read with mine.
I'm guessing about the reasons why - her wrists are small, she has RLS, she tends to sleep lightly on a good night, etc.
I'd like to hear from others who don't get good reads and their theories on what's wrong.
Thanks

It's great to see you in the Community @MicroX, welcome!
Thanks for sharing your feedback about sleep tracking. Sorry to hear that your wife is not getting a correct sleep reading in regular basis. Is she using the Inspire HR as well?
I'd recommend checking this important information about how Fitbit tracks sleep. Also check this article about Sleep Stages: What should I know about sleep stages?

Sometimes we expect too much from these electronic gizmos. I'm amazed that our HR's work as well as they do most of the time.
Recently we went for a ride on our bikes. My HR recorded the time spent on the bikes accurately. Hers showed about half the time. The next day she pumped her arm up & down during a 2 hour long ride. The HR guessed that she was on an elliptical. So she learned a lesson about trying to outsmart the device.
We'll definitely read thru the links you provided. I have a feeling that she's going to continue to be frustrated.
Last night she actually got a solid read, from about 2300 hours until 0700 hours. However, the HR indicated she only got a few minutes of Deep. yeah, I dunno about that.
