Started run on fibit does not show on app

I started my run this morning on my fitbit wristband by scrolling down and selecting 'run' and 'start'.

It does not show under 'exercise' in the app although the steps and mileage are there.  How do I make sure that exercise started on the fitbit shows up in the app correctly?

Good luck with this issue. I've been having the same problem for weeks now and have found nothing that makes a difference.

Feeling a bit silly now. I thought I'd stopped the run on my fitbit but it
turns out I hadn't. Made sure that I stopped the run and returned to the
'clock' and my run synced straight away...
