Steps doubling and too many calories burned

Hello, my steps are doubling and I have only moved 4 steps this morning. My calories are sitting at 435 for not moving? Can anyone help please

I might be able to explain the calories.

 

As well as tracking calories burned through activity your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings for age, height, weight etc so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them. What you are seeing includes the total BMR calories burned since midnight

Thank you for you reply, appreciated.

So my steps are accurate then?

As for my steps, it is saying I have done now 197 and I’ve only walked from my bed to the toilet which is about 14 steps.

Can you help?

Step counting is not 100% accurate as it can mistake random arm movement as steps (and can miss some actual steps). Have a look at what Fitbit say about accuracy at: Help article: How accurate are Fitbit trackers?
