I just wanted to notify this forum that on September 3rd my FitBit Inspire 2 stopped charging and responding entirely. It also got overheated when I placed it on the charger.
I reached out to Customer Care on 9/6, sent my broken device back on 9/7, it arrived on 9/13 and I STILL have not gotten a new device on 9/19. In fact, the latest chat I had told me that it takes 5-7 days once received AND Fitbit changed my received date to 9/15 even though I have all the paperwork.
The Tracking number cannot be found on the UPS site and the Fitbit site says "Still waiting". Had I purchased a new device I would have had it THREE WEEKS AGO.
Anyway, I have seen a lot of failed Inspire 2 posts lately (suspicious that the Inspire 3 just launched...) and wanted to tell you, buy another brand unless you want to be out of a device for at least a month while Fitbit fumbles the process of providing a replacement for a device less than 1.5 years old...
So disappointed in this company, what a shame.
