Swimming issues with Inspire HR

I've been swimming every day for a month and no issues with the inspire hr, it auto recognises the swim.

Apart from today. I swam non stop for over 30 minutes and nothing was auto recognised.

I'm hoping this will not be the case tomorrow, as I need to log my miles for a charity that I'm being sponsored to swim for.

I've restarted it. 

I also wanted to understand how to get the swim recorded in metres rather than yards. I watched a tutorial video where it was possible from the watch, but I don't have a swim icon ong the exercise icons on my watch, and I can't see online how to add one. I've been onto the web site dashboard. Can anyone help please?

To change the unit of measurement you use for pool length, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

  1. On your device, open the Exercise app 
     
     
     
     Swim.
  2. Swipe up and tap Pool Settings.
