Text notifications keep stopping, only way to fix it is to reload everything, then only works while

When I bought my Fitbit the text notifications worked well for at least a month. But in January (before the software update), they stopped working. The only way to get them working again is to disconnect the Fitbit from the app, turn off the Bluetooth, delete the app, delete the Bluetooth connect, restart the phone and then reload the app and the fitbit. But then it only works for a few hours before the pairing drops. Is this an issue of the hardware of my watch or the software?  Since reloading everything fixes the problem for a few hours, it seems like a software issue. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi @ROG-1 It is a problem for certain phones since the phone has been updated to the latest. What phone are you using?

I'm using an iPhone 6S. Do you know if there is any plan for fixing the
issue? I got addicted to the text notifications on my fitbit and now I
really want them back!

Yes iPhones do have a problem, or some do. Yes the engineers are working on it but I have no idea when it will be fixed. But keep an eye on the thread in the pink banner at the top of forum pages where updates and work arounds are posted.
