Texts notification just says New Message on Inspire

  Hey guys. I've had my Fitbit Inspire since May and absolutely love it. When I get a Facebook Messenger message it actually shows the content so I can read it on my Inspire. Texs just say "New Message Received" and I have to physically read them on my phone. I assumed it was something with the type of Fitbit I have but I just bought my daughter one for Christmas and hers displays the actual text.

 

  My Inspire is updated and I have done every troubleshooting suggestion I have found in the forums. I receive my notifications just fine, but I'd love to actually read the texts. Any suggestions?

Let me help you with your text notifications not showing the content on your Inspire. This could be due to your privacy settings on your phone. Make sure that you allow the content of the messages to be shown on the lock screen. You can follow these instructions to troubleshoot the issue.
