The Dashboard underreports step count tracked by Inspire

My dashboard underreports the number of steps that my Fitbit shows every day.  There doesn't seem to be any pattern that I can detect.  It typically reports daily totals between 25% to 50% of what my Fitbit device shows.  Is there some manual procedure that I need to do at the end of each day to get it record my steps?

@DaveC42 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. I moved your post to this board, in an effort to keep the forums organized.

Thanks for the details mentioned.

May I know if you have MobileTrack added to your account? MobileTrack is a feature that records basic stats such as steps using your phone's sensors if you don't have a Fitbit device available.

If this is the case, let's try the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap MobileTrack:
For iOS devices, scroll down and tap the option to remove the device.
    For Android devices,
tap the trash icon at the upper right corner.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove it from your account.
  4. Once that is done, you can continue syncing your Inspire and monitor its behavior in the next days.

To ensure your Dashboard reflects the same data tracked by your Inspire, make sure that it syncs to your account prior checking it.

Hope this helps.
