The Fitbit app displayed 32,977 steps in 15 minutes

32,977 steps were added by app between 11:30 and 11:45 PM on June 17th.

Question is, how to remove, since this is an obvious error. Or at 36.6 steps per second, I am developing powers of The Flash, in my sleep. Note, this did not change active minutes or distance, but did add 2,558.8 to calories burned.

App version is 3.42.1, on Motorola G6, Inspire HR.

@Tydd Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the detailed information shared.

May I know if you have MobileTrack added to your account? MobileTrack is a feature that records basic stats such as steps using your phone's sensors if you don't have a Fitbit device available. If there was a fan or anything buzzing nearby, or if your phone was vibrating, that might have caused you to get incorrect steps during that time. This could explain your powers of The Flash. 😉

Assuming this is the case, let's try the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap MobileTrack:
  3. For Android devices, tap the trash icon at the upper right corner.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove it from your account.
  5. Continue syncing your Inspire HR as you normally would

If the steps don't disappear once MobileTrack has been removed, you could log a non-step based activity such as driving to override them.

Hope this helps.
