The device stopped syncing, then decided not to connect via Bluetooth and now I can't open the app

So the device (Inspire HR) was working as expected up until a month and a half a go or so (amusingly enough, the warranty expired around the time issues started appearing).

The device first stopped syncing collected data, then I noticed that the Bluetooth connection between the device and the phone (Xiaomi Mi A3, everything worked fine until that time and the phone is updated regulary) broke and now I can't even open the app since it stops/crashes second after I click on it.

 

I have:

- restarted the device a number of times,

- drained the battery a number of times and then tried to recharge and reconnect,

- uninstalled and reinstalled (again, a number of times) the app,

- the data has been cleared from the phone,

- no battery saving app/feature is affecting the device,

 

Whenever I tried anything, the phone has also been restarted but I was unable to pair it (also tried to connect it to another phone and nothing).
The device would be visibile in the list of Bluetooth devices but during connection it would stop after a few seconds as if nothing happened. When I attempted to connect it through the app I would get to the point where I have to input numbers visible on the device and then it would get stuck on trying to connect for more than 10 minutes and failing eventually.


The OS is Android 10 and I'm using the latest version of the Fitbit app.

 

What is the solution to the problem because I now have, and barely a year has passed since I bought it, a device and an app that won't do what they're supposed to?

To add insult to injury I've lost all health and training data that I have collected but been unable to sync.

I have been having the same issues with it syncing as well. Plus I have tried all the things you have done too but with no luck.   I can get into app but it says I have no internet connection.  Funny we are all having the same issues after an update was just done.  Hope they fix it soon.

I've been having similar Inspire problems the last few days.  Fed up!  Don't want to wait several hours for it to finally decide to sync.  It says it's syncing and refreshing but it isn't.  Then it says it's finished but nothing has changed.  MAYBE a few hours later, it will update. The product stinks!  Too many other people reporting problems with Inspire, sync...

Hey Sirs and Madams Moderators, I would really need your asistence since I haven't heard from you and I can't start a chat with your people because the service is unavailable to me for weeks now.

 

Gotta say it's a really crappy way of dealing with customers and not resolving the problem that seems has originated from your end and now leaving people with faulty device that does absolutely nothing.
