How do I set my fitbit to track my walk? We walk between 3 and 4 .miles every day my fitbit says I have 10467 steps for 2.64 miles while my Samsung health app (which has GPS tracking) says I hav 9840 steps for 4.42 miles. I know I take about 2200 steps per mile. Is there a way to adjust the steps per mile in the fitbit app?

After you track a run with GPS, your stride length updates automatically. For best results, run at a comfortable pace for 10 minutes or more. For more information, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
You can also measure your stride length manually and add it to your Fitbit account.

Today we walked 3.98 miles according to my Samsung health app - but my fitbit app says 2.39 miles. I have set my stride length. I know that I have 2438 steps in a mile but the fitbit is calculating it at 3955 steps in a mile. How do I get the fitbit to recalculate to the right number of steps per mile? If I use the GPS on my tracker will that calculate the steps correctly?

The easiest way to know for sure is to try it. Note your stride length; go for a GPS-measure walk; then check stride length again to see if it has changed.
I'm not sure if it reset stride length for run and walk or just for run.
