Tracker won't get notifications if phone is on silent??

Thought I was having issues with the device until I saw the pop up notification appear on the app screen - why is it my tracker won't ring/ buzz or get any notifications if my phone is on silent? I specifically keep my phone on silent so that my vibration doesn't wake the whole house or turn heads at the office, but my trackers vibration works just right to not alert the public. Surely this can be fixed? Surely we should have the choice in app to tailor preferences for notifications?

Hi, @Rohmat , have you got your phone set to volume off rather than set the phone to “do not disturb”?   For obvious reasons the Fitbit design respects the “do not disturb” setting on your phone, but should send you notifications when the phone is on silent.

As @Julia_G mentioned, when you turn on the do not disturb, quiet hours, or driving mode setting on your phone, your Fitbit device receives notifications but won’t alert you. Press and hold the buttons to access certain settings. For more information, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
