Tracking heart rate during logged exercise stopped.

My Inspire HR always logged my heart rate when tracking any exercise I was carrying out but suddenly stopped last week. It still logs my hr as normal but not when I am logging an exercise.

I have tried switching off/on, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work.

If I carry out an exercise like digging up the garden, it logs it as exercise and also logs the hr, just not when I want the exercise logged.

Can you help please. Thanks.

Mine has also stopped registering heartrate on logged exercise. It seems to have quit working after July 27 sometime. It would really be nice if we could see the heart rate on our phones just as we see the distance and time per mile.

THANKS

Just checked mine. Last date it logged my heart rate was 27 July, same as yours. Don't know if an update was done around this time.

Anyone any ideas please?

I'm having the same problem.  The last time I got a heartrate graph was July 27th.  It's frustrating because this is the info I want the Fitbit for.  I don't care what rate I'm burning calories at, especially considering this is an estimate.  My heartrate shows me exactly how hard I worked at different points. Bring it back!

Does anyone from Fitbit monitor these posts? There seems to be a recurring theme just after 27 July.

Really sorry. I accidentally pressed solved and I couldn't undo it. I have posted the same question again. Nobody seemed to answer it so hopefully someone will pick up on it from the new post.

Same thing here - since July 27th 😞 It happens when I track exercise on my phone, but have Ionic on my wrist. When I track from Ionic it tracks heart rate, but i prefere to track from phone.

Same issue and approximately the same date. I have restarted, updated, etc. No change still isn't tracking during exercise. When I look at the HR graph it is still showing 24/7 with no gaps.

My fitbit stopped providing the logged HR during a tracked exercise around 7/27. It worked perfectly up until that point. Now it does not provide the HR in the display when looking at the exercise. On the Dashboard when I look at HR it still shows as tracking 24/7 with no gaps. I have reset the fitbit itself and updated the fitbit itself. Seems like a common issue as there was another thread with the same topic but no support from fitbit.

Hopefully this new thread will get someone from fitbit to respond.

This is a known issue at the moment and Fitbit engineers are working to get it fixed. Please keep your eye on THIS THREAD for updates.

What is the latest. It seems that as a fitness tracker that providing the HR logging during exercise would be a core function of the device. Also seems to be a widespread problem and entirely software based as the HR is logged 24/7. There has been no update to this thread and many people with the issue. What is the latest ?

Why would we be directed to a Charge 3 specific thread about the problem with the Inspire ? I believe it was you yourself who stated that the thread you link above is only for Charge 3.
