Trouble wearing Inspire HR to bed

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have sleep issues and would love to use wear my Fitbit InspireHR to bed to record my sleep patterns but it makes me incredibly anxious.  I don't know if it's that I am not used to having something on my wrist while sleeping or if I am thinking all night about what it is recording.  It makes my sleep so restless that I have to take it off after a couple of hours.  Has anyone else encountered the same issues and do you have any tips?

Hi @kjtown  I've worn a Fitbit on my wrist as night, recording my sleep, for quite a few years. In the beginning, sleeping with anything on my wrist was new, as I didn't even wear a watch before my Fitbit arrived. If it bothers you, then don't look at your sleep record or wear it at night. You'll learn to get used to having it at night. Perhaps the light on the screen when you move is distracting you?

Some things to think about - thanks!

Some people don't like the light coming on at night and use a soft terry cloth band around it. There is more stress at this moment in our lives and you might unknowingly be feeling that, too. Whatever you do, be sure you're comfortable with it.
