Trouble with inspire 2

My inspire 2 will not track sleep pattern or track my heartbeat, so really only working as a watch and step counter. I am really disappointed and would like my money back, but no go as I bought it from Argos. Fitbit Charge 2 was much better and cheaper

@LesleyGJ One feature of the Inspire 2 is that you have the option to wear it on your wrist or on a clip. If it is set to wear on a clip, the heart rate monitoring will be turned off and the green lights won't be on.  

To check this, press and hold both buttons on the sides of the device. You'll get a list of settings. Swipe up until you get to the last one. It should say "On Wrist". If it says "On Clip", tap on that and change it to "On Wrist".

Thanks .That is clear advice and helpful except I didn’t find the Wrist/
clip choice there. I had located it somewhere (on the app I think) and
checked that, but the problem remains unresolved.

Like everything else on Fitbit, it takes ages to find anything! The wrist/clip choice IS at here. Persevere!
