When I ride my horse, the step tracker counts her steps. Can I pause the step tracker while I'm riding?

Lol @Gracie2000  I have heard of that before. Unfortunately you cant turn the step count off, so the only thing you could do is leave it somewhere safe. The only other option I can think of is to log a driving activity afterwards in the app - that will negate the steps, but also any active minutes you might gain or calories you burn during horse riding which is, after all, rather more strenuous than driving.

DRIVING ACTIVITY
To log a driving activity go to your app, tap the exercise tile (running man), then the stopwatch icon in the top right corner. On the screen that comes up start to type in Driving and when the list drops down SELECT DRIVING from the list (very importand not to type in the whole word). Fill in the details and Log it.

I was just curious if it records riding as an exercise.  I ride at a hunter jumper barn, so we are pretty active, but it's not listed as an exercise.  I just got mine today, so haven't been riding yet.

Not like you can track running or walking but you can retro record riding for the time frame. Unfortunately, it counts your horse's steps as yours (which is for I managed to reach over 10,000 today).

I have the same problem...my mare gets 10,000 steps in about 20 minutes on trail rides. She must be in great shape!
