Turning off text messages on Fitbit Inspire HR?

My teenage son has a Fitbit Inspire HR, but we had to install the app on my iPhone because his phone is not compatible. He is getting my text messages, and I tried to turn this off by going into Notifications and turning off "Messages." They are still coming through, he says. I'm looking all over the app to figure out - how to turn off notifications of text messages? Thanks!!

If you hold the power button on the fitbit, you will see a small scroll menu. Tap on Notifications, and it will be crossed out. After that, he will no longer get messages.
