Turning off the Pacesetter from my wristband

Somehow last night inadvertently I turned on a Pacesetter it's now been running for 14 hours and I cannot figure out how to turn it off it's really frustrating I don't think it's tracking my sleep or anything else that I was actually caring about I've looked up online a few times how to turn this feature and function off with no success. I thought that maybe turning off my wristband would reset the system, but it hasn't because the things that say will make it turn off hasn't even allowed it to turn off! Please help! Is it a series of buttons like the game of Tekken I cannot figure out how to get the Pacesetter to turn off!

I'm not sure what you mean by a "Pacesetter", but pressing the side button, perhaps a few times, is often how to get out of something.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
