My Inspire 2 is paired with my phone's Bluetooth, but when I try to connect it tells me I need an app, which I have. In the app I can't find any way to sync with Fitbit, but I continually get the message that I need an app when I try to connect! I even deleted and reinstalled the app but it didn't help. The app has already downloaded and installed the most recent upgrades, so I don't know what else to do

any insight to what the fix is would be appreciated. Today my charge 5 is having the same issues and it doesn't say what app is required. I have the fitbit app and it shows it last sync'd about an hour ago but now won't connect. Thanks,

I have exactly the same problem, fitbit still counting steps, but stopped recording sleep and calories. Re-installed app, have premium, extremely frustrating

I'm having the same problem since the last update. I have to restart my phone and then it syncs for the day and then stops the next day.

I am having same issue. Contacted chat support. Did all the troubleshooting, reboot, etc. It worked one day & then battery drained & time is off by 4 hours. It shows fitbit logo and 01 on screen now. Is my fit bit dieing?

I've been having the same problems, even thought I've owned my Fitbit Inspire 2 since 2021. Same message about it needing an app. I have it on my phone. I never had a problem with my Fitbit when it wasn't owned by Google. I even have a Pixel 7 pro phone. I've tried all the advice. I'm ready the throw out my Inspire 2 and go with another brand not owned by Google, yet I love my Pixel phones.

The last update issued on Saturday 3/9 fixed my issue. All is right in my world again.

I'm glad the issue was fixed for you. When I tried to reset my Fitbit, it never recovered. It doesn't work anymore and I that's a whole other issue people are having problems with. You try to do a hard reset by holding the sides when plugged in. Then the green light stops flashing and you get the smile face, disconnect and nothing. It never resets. It kills the Fitbit. Wouldn't recommend anyone trying it.

Please make sure to have the latest Fitbit app version installed. We started to release a new version a few days ago. It'll be delivered to all of you but for some it might take a bit longer.
