Suddenly iPad has stopped syncing last evening. Have tried all the suggestions to no avail including an agent. I have it installed with MyFitnessPal program on my iPad as well as my laptop. For years I must sync on my laptop and then I can sync on my laptop. If I uninstall the Fitbit will it lose the data already stored there or what other options are there?

I updated my iphone 7s to the latest ios and now I cannot get my Fitbit Inspire HR to sync with it. I tried multiple shutdowns of my phone and fitbit with no success. Finally, I deleted the app, powered off my phone, reinstalled the app and it still won't sync with my phone. I get message saying Found It with a check mark in the middle of the screen and at the bottom of the screen it says, Connecting to Tracker... and it spins, spins and spins and never connects! I have the Fitbit and iphone side by side.
This is so frustrating and I have now wasted about 3 hours this afternoon trying to figure it out. Please advise how I can resolve this issue/problem.
Thank you.

Thank you for the step by step process. I think it worked. I really think the company should read all
of this and realize the problem and send out solution. Not pleased with customer service. Many thanks for your help

Why is this happening; I have loved my Fitbit Inspire HR, but I’m very disappointed with your assistance availability. If I go to the directions-they lead me somewhere else; if I call, your advocates are currently busy....indefinitely! My Fitbit will not sync with my watch, no matter what I try!😡 I received this for Xmas 2019; in February 2020 the connection failed and I was able to reset. It’s now May and it has done it again-but this time nothing seems to help. My iPhone updated on Sat May 9, 2020 and My Fitbit Inspire HR has not synced since. My Fitbit works, but will not send data to my iPhone!!! I am so very disappointed. If it does not get remedied, I will be forced to purchase an Apple Watch. P.S. I had been enjoying your free offering of the Premium Program through June, but now I cannot even benefit from tgat☹️

Thanks for sharing. I did this yesterday and it worked for me, too. So far, so good!
Thank you.

I went to Settings and bluetooth. My inspire HR was not connected. so I
clicked on it and clicked on forget this device. Then I went back to
bluetooth and clicked on fitbit and it connected.
It was definitely the iOS update so you have to go to your phone to
reconnect.
Very Respectfully,
*Cynthia*

Your message was very helpful, but I only had to use step #1. I went to Bluetooth on my iPhone, clicked on 'forget this device' and immediately it recognized the Inspire HR and sync'd. It's like the software was getting 2 signals.
